Councils Declaring a Climate Emergency - as at July 2019

Since November 2018, local councils across the UK have been busy declaring climate emergencies. While there is no clear, standard definition of what this actually means in practice, it does seem to be an acknowledgement that climate change threatens the wellbeing of residents, and signals intent to attempt to do something about it.
